There's still time...

As we journey through life, there are a lot of dreams and goals that we set that never come to fuition. Although these hopes may not occur in the time frame that we had allotted, it does not mean that they still can not come true. I realize that not matter how delayed they may be, that I must not give up on my dreams. First and foremost because their mine. These are thoughts that came to me not from the unknown but from the Heavens. This means that there is purpose in the vision. God never puts a limit on our dreams. Those limitations are established by us. How can a Man who holds eternity be controlled by time. It is the pressure of life that we feel that causes us to move pass those things that we valued because we felt that they had lost their importance.

If there is a dream you once had, you need to redream again. Believe again. Trust again. Commit to the power of dreams for they are truly a divine image that you alone could have never created on your own.

Days Like This Make All The Difference.

We live life with many consecutive days of ill feelings, frustration, headaches, heartaches, misery, disappointment and setbacks. But when you have that one great day that brings you joy, motivation, content, excitment, inspiration and peace it makes all the difference.
Today was one of those days for me. I realized that I should not allow people to dictate my moods. I must choose to feel like this everyday. If you want to have a feeling of contentment it has to be a choice. I hardly remember the things that earlier had me so bound.
Joy will always trump sadness, happiness will always control sadness and peace will forever triumph over turmoil. Make the choice or life will consume you so there won't be a choice to make.

How deep is the darkside?

There are so many of us who have experienced pain in our lives that it tends to be buried deep in our minds and spirit like sedimentary rock that is the result of erosion from dismantled soil. As the years travel, that sediment or pain becomes compacted and solidified due to pressure, time and heat. That pain won't resurface on its own but has to sought out and dug up.
We must rediscover that pain because it is only when we find its lesson or seed will we find the beauty in its gift in order to use it to continue to find our purpose.

What about the soil?

Many times focus on the seeds that we sow into others. But sometimes we need to focus on the soil in which we sow seeds. If the soil is not prepared to receive a seed there will not be any growth. Many of us are hurting inside and are able to here the encouragement, motivation, or the wisdom of others. We need to nurture the spirit of those that we encounter and heal them with kind words and smiles. Once their hearts are healed then thier minds and spirits are prepared for growth.

Can You Be A Miracle Worker?

As defined by Wikipedia a miracle is an event attributed to divine intervention. Sometimes an event is also attributed (in part) to a miracle worker, saint, or religious leader. A miracle is sometimes thought of as a perceptible interruption of the laws of nature. While attending a graduation for once at-risk-youth, this idea of a miracle was introduced and I thought to myself: Can I be a miracle worker?

What is a miracle worker? Based on the last thought of a miracle, I would have to say that a miracle worker is someone who comes in and takes the time to be attentive to the needs of someone else. You may not know that a person is on their way to a bottomless pit, but just by listening you could make the difference between life or death, freedom or jail, happiness or sadness, success or failure, peace or turmoil. If you have ever been that person than you have been a miracle worker because you defied what was supposed to inevitably happen in that person's life by intervening. And because of you that person is now a miracle.

I believe in the cycle of being a miracle to becoming a miracle worker. If we were all able to make that transition this life that we live would be more fulfilling and purposeful. So, if you have not seen a miracle lately you may want to take a glance in the mirror because it could possibly be staring you right the your face.

Success Comes with a Price!

I have realized that in this life if you want to be successful you have to take risks and make investments. Investments may not always be monetary. You can make physical, emotional and psychological investments. Despite the type, you have an input in order to get an output. I am realizing that the result may be phenomenal but will require patience and prayer while enduring pain. While it is important to give back, there have to be some corners that you turn that you have to live life for yourself and do somethings that make you happen. You may have to make tough decisions that may be unproperly or that may produce a few unhappy people. But no matter what stick to the reason you came to your final decision and know that there is an ultimate outcome that will benefit many. Finding resolve in your purpose can be difficult when having to break promises but keeping my promise to Him is most important if I ever to whole-heartedly fullfill my purpose.

B.I.G.....

Everything that you do should be with the mindset of increasing your happiness and taking your life to the next level. In order to do that you need to engulf yourself with thoughts, behaviors and people that propel positive energy in your direction. This is why you need to B.I.G. What does that mean?

It means you nee to "Bath In Goodness". When you bath you basically cover yourself, head to toe, in water and in order to cleanse your outer body of dirt and filth. With that same thought, you  need to cover yourself with good thoughts, good people, good behaviors and good environments that will either rid you of filth or keep filth out of your life. Of course, there is no possible way your life can be devoid of negative energy. But the idea is to limit your exposure and much as possible.

Who said...

Who ever said nothing from nothing leaves nothing could have only been refering to matters of mathematics. Through humanity we have seen and heard of many instances where someone was a no one living somewhere that was really a nowhere, was able to to somehow, out of life's suprisingly benevolent grace,were able to reach heights that were never imagined.

I'm a private beach....

Don't allow just anyway to enter into your space. Just like a private beach, only certain persons have access the the property (pr your life). But anyone can go to a private peach as long as they have a means to get there, even if they ride with you. Those who go to private beaches have earned the right to be there and go to enjoy the beauty environment, but many people who go to public beaches are on the prowl. The lesson here...Be selective in who you choose to hang around because if you're not careful you can find your around all types of "animals".

Be a "river"...

"Still water looks very pretty but after a while it can be quite boring. Sometimes you have to disturb its comfort just to see do something besides just exist." - C. Holmes

Are you a lake or a rivers. Lakes are still bodies of water. However, rivers flow trying to get to bigger and better things.

The lesson in this topic is this: Stop hanging around "lakes" that aren't going anywhere but surroung yourself around other "rivers" who continue to flow and move despite obstacles because they have ultimate goal at the end of the journey.

Tapping into the Source....

Sometimes we relinquish our power to others because we allow what they think and what they say take precedence over what we know in our spirit to be true of ourselves. I refuse to be defined by others view of who our mind because I am truly more than a conqueror. If I am to be a part of the heavenly realm, there is no way I can be defined by wordly (human) reason.

Sometimes you have to ask yourself are you draining other's energy or are you being drained. There is nothing wrong with pouring your own talents and gifts in to the life of someone else. However, if you are being drained you also need a source of replenishment. Where do you find it?
